"The Problem Solver" is a unique way of solving problems.
It is based on a simple method of communication that ensures that all the facts of the problem are discovered, sorted into priorities and, most importantly, communicated to all concerned. This is a superb method of making important decisions.
"The Problem Solver" instrument is a six-page document. This assembles the facts of the problem, as you see it, analyses and determines the causes, and finally states a plan for implementing a valid solution. Along the way there is a thorough examination of all the factors contributing to the problem. Everyone concerned is involved and provides input to the team operation. The result is a solution which will work.
To complement this unique package, there is an unusual slide show with a spoken commentary by the author. It shows a group of highly intelligent mice who get together to solve a particularly difficult problem and, by using the pages of The Problem Solver, come to a satisfactory solution to their problem. This amusing slide show can be used as an introduction to the problem solver idea, or as part of an overall Problem Solver programme. Instructions on how to run the programme are included in the package.
